COVERWELL PERFUSION CHAMBERS
CoverWell perfusion chambers press-to-seal covers form water-tight, multiwell cell incubation or cytochemistry chambers when pressed to coverslips or microscope slides. Reagents can be quickly added and removed through dual access ports without disturbing or cross-contaminating specimens. Chambers are available in five chamber configurations allowing up to eight different specimens or analytical tests on one coverglass.
CoverWell perfusion chambers form removable, water-tight multiwell enclosures by pressing to coverglass or microscope slides. Chambers are made of medical-grade silicone bonded to clear, UV-transparent plastic, and are removable for permanent mounting. The thin (0.18mm/0.007”) polycarbonate cover displays excellent transparency. The perfusion chambers are ideal for live cell imaging on upright or inverted microscopes at high magnification. Adhesive Seal Tabs create leak-proof chambers.

Q: What is best method for sterilizing CoverWell™ Perfusion Chambers?
A: All of the materials are temperature resistant (absent the poly liner on the surface) The adhesive can soften a bit when heated but goes back to “normal” upon cooling. ETO is fine also, so is alcohol and you can lightly flame them briefly. The key thing is not to allow the parts to curl, I prefer to press them to a microscope slide during autoclaving to keep them flat. The silicone absorbs moisture so allow them to dry for several hours before use. Autoclaving is the easiest method.
Q: What solvents are compatible with CoverWell™ products?
A: CoverWells are manufactured from Lexan Polycarbonate (cover) Silicone (gasket) and Acrylic/Silicone Adhesive (interface). Steer clear of soaking in Alcohol and no exposure to Xylenes, Toluene, Chloroform, Acetone. DMF is fine.

Adhesive Seal TabsSHOP
Adhesive seal tabs complement SecureSeal™ Hybridization Chambers, HybriWell™ Sealing System and CoverWell™ Perfusion Chambers. Once the paper liner is removed, the SecureSeal adhesive is exposed and the tab could easily be applied on top of a chamber’s port. A slight pressure on the adhesive tab is sufficient to create leak-proof chambers that are temperature resistant. Adhesive Seal Tabs are easily detached to allow addition or removal of reagents from the chamber. Adhesive Seal tabs are autoclavable.
