MultiSlip™ Coverglass Inserts

MULTISLIP™ COVERGLASS INSERTS

MutliSlip™ coverglass inserts with 8 (18mm x 18mm) or 15 (12mm x 12mm) No. 1.5 German glass coverglass per insert are sterile and ready-to-use in conventional 86mm x 128mm culture plates. MultiSlips™ are ideally suited for the culture of cells where pretreatment of the glass surface with a biological coating is required. Simply add sterile solution to the plate, incubate and aspirate.

Staining and washing procedures may be performed with MultiSlip™ inserts in the plate, or silicone backed coverglass may be removed individually and affixed to glass microscope slides. Alternately, inserts may be easily removed for batch processing in glass staining dishes. Coating is applied evenly to one side of the glass only, with no overlapping, handling with forceps, or breakage. Biological coating procedures for coverglass are available.

Ideal for the culture of cells where pretreatment of the glass surface with a biological coating is required.

CoverWell™ Perfusion Chambers

CoverWell ™ perfusion press-to-seal covers form water-tight, multiwell cell incubation or cytochemistry chambers when pressed to coverslips or microscope slides. Reagents can be quickly added and removed through dual access ports without disturbing or cross-contaminating specimens. Chambers are available in five chamber configurations allowing up to eight different specimens or analytical tests on one coverglass.

FastWells™ Reagent Barriers

FastWells™ are sticky, flexible silicone gaskets that form hydrophobic reagent barriers around specimens without messy adhesives or special slides. Gaskets may be stacked to increase depth and volume. FastWell™ Reagent Barriers provide rapid isolation of cells and tissues on slides or coverslips for antibody incubations. The barriers remain sealed during agitated washing steps, preventing reagents from spilling when shaken or rocked. FastWells™ peel off quickly and cleanly, leaving no residue to interfere with specimen cover-slipping. They can be washed, autoclaved and reused. The barriers can also be sealed to form incubation chambers using flexible HybriSlip™ covers.

SecureSeal™ Adhesive Sheets

These adhesive sheets are made using the same SecureSeal™ adhesive as is used to make HybriWell™ and SecureSeal™ Incubation Chambers.  Thin, double-sided tape on a non-woven carrier. Clear, polyester liner on one surface, white clay coated paper on the other.  SecureSeal™ Sheets consist of various thickness to choose from.  These double sided adhesive sheets measure 7 x 10 inches.

SecureSlip™ Silicone Supported Coverglass

SecureSlip™ Silicone Supported Coverglass is affixed to a thin microscopically transparent silicone base which secures it to culture vessels by electrostatic charge (no adhesive) to prevent movement during cultivation, and cells from growing on the back surface. The silicone also acts as a hydrophobic barrier to isolate liquid reagents on glass.
