Grace Bio-Labs offers a variety of solutions to create chambers and wells on glass or other flat surfaces. Different designs offer several compartmentalization solutions, thus allowing simultaneous analysis of multiple experimental conditions.
Materials are selected for their low cytotoxicity and compatibility with cell growth and with high-resolution imaging. Re-usable and autoclavable options are available for rapid and economical experimental setup.

CS16-CultureWell™ Removable Chambered CoverglassSEARCH
CS16 CultureWell™ removable chambered coverglass is a 16-well chambered coverglass cell culture vessel, with 2 x 8 format with standard 96 well plate volumes and well spacing. The non-cytotoxic silicone well gaskets form a leak-proof seal between the polystyrene upper structure and coverglass. Product is sterile and ready to use. Chambered Coverglass allows high resolution imaging in the same vessel used for cell culture. The bottom of the wells are No. 1.5 German borosilicate coverglass. Coverglass may be separated from the chambers for mounting fixed cells.
CultureWell™ Coverglass InsertsSEARCH
Each CultureWell™ coverglass insert is comprised of four chambered coverglass, assembled in a disposable frame placed in a standard 86mm x 128mm culture plate, sterile and ready to use. The stabilizing insert design and accessory hardware allow fragile coverglass to be easily integrated into protocols for high throughput handling of microscope slides and SBS compliant microtiter plates. Custom designs and coverglass are available.
CultureWell™ Reusable GasketsSEARCH
Gaskets are ideal for forming wells on glass microscope slides or in polystyrene dishes. Gaskets are non-sterile and may be sterilized by autoclaving, UV or alcohol. Ideal for forming wells on glass microscope slides or in polystyrene dishes and to isolate cells using removable hydrophobic barriers on coverglass.
CultureWell™ Silicone Sheet MaterialSEARCH
CultureWell™ clear silicone sheet material allows researchers to create their own removable hydrophobic barriers to isolate specimens. They may be used to isolate cells grown in culture dishes or separate multiple specimens affixed to microscope slides.
MultiSlip™ Coverglass InsertsSEARCH
MutliSlip™ inserts with 8 (18mm x 18mm) or 15 (12mm x 12mm) No. 1.5 German glass coverglass per insert are sterile and ready-to-use in conventional 86mm x 128mm culture plates. MultiSlips™ are ideally suited for the culture of cells where pretreatment of the glass surface with a biological coating is required. Simply add sterile solution to the plate, incubate and aspirate.
SecureSlip™ Silicone Supported CoverglassSEARCH
SecureSlip™ Silicone Supported Coverglass is affixed to a thin microscopically transparent silicone base which secures it to culture vessels by electrostatic charge (no adhesive) to prevent movement during cultivation, and cells from growing on the back surface. The silicone also acts as a hydrophobic barrier to isolate liquid reagents on glass.
